Looking through hair style catalogues was SO frustrating. Hardly anyone had grey hair. Almost no one was wearing glasses. I wanted to have lots of possibilities for my my natural grey hair color, so I began photographing the beautiful women I was seeing around me: in meetings, at dance class, at school, on the street. No special effects. No special lighting. Just real women.
Now it's easy to print out a photo for Melinda (my hair wizard) and tell her,"Try this."
I'm already envisioning this as our catalog. Please send me your photo if your would like to join in. Hair color's an option.
